The DHV Magellan was a state of the art Chiral submarine funded and manned by a nominally-civilian organisation named Drawbridge that was effectively populated by numerous UAC oldheads, not all of whom were immediately apparent. It's pretty much a combination of End of Evangelion and the Musubi Reason from SMT Nocturne conducted by an organisation that's pretty much the Patriots if they were restless souls instead of AIs"
