Matthew 26:53
>Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?

Christ actually ends up doing this during the final days of this earth.

Matthew 13:41-42
>41. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

>42. And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

You never know when. So stay ready. Do not let the entertainment and distractions and comforts continue to keep you lulled to sleep.
