Nah. Delusional is thinking you can repeat a once-in-a-lifetime, no-competition, pandemic-boosted movie. There's a reason why they chose to drop this movie worldwide on September (dump month) and NOT October, November or December (Oscar months). Zootopia 2 (guaranteed $1B+) and Avatar 3 (guaranteed $2B+) will eat DS alive. They're intentionally avoiding competition like they've always did.

It doesn't matter whether Superman only makes $20M, $10M or even $5M, lol. Superman and F4 might not outgross DS in Japan but their job isn't to kill it, it's to bruise it. They just need to:
>hit the international box office velocity
>pull premium screens away from DS
>force DS into tighter slots and worse hours (Japan doesn't have many theaters)
Even if they open and only make $5-8M lifetime, that's still screens DS could've used and money not going to DS which infuriates any company, and if Jurassic World even touches $50M in Japan (early reviews are positive, they say it's the best since the original Jurassic Park by Spielberg), that's money DS is not getting back. Every $10M, even $5M, diverted to dinosaurs is a dent in DS's box office armor. And by Week 4, DS's velocity will slow down, that's when the blood starts spilling.
