until OW devs give any actual insight into how the matchmaker works then it is entirely reasonable to assume that "statistically calculated to have a lower chance of winning" means that they have to be going off of something like the combined average winrate of the last 10 games played by each person on a team. again im not saying its forced and blizzard doesnt want me to win, just that its not actually organic and you can arguably pick out the players that this is affecting when you notice that there is almost always at least one person in the match who is performing far worse than anyone else on either team. i think this is what leads to the overwhelming feeling that the game is mostly "get stomped, then stomp" matches with genuinely even games being scarce
