What if they wrote the story so that it included more than the same 3 races in repeat over and over again? Unless some spectral force makes the writers incapable of doing that, a la Afrasiabi's ghost disrupting Danuser's vision. Or can they only do asspulls when it includes those Alliance races like making a literal who goblin with no backstory or dialogue before a main character in Undermine because he was an Alliance character.
