Well, they use an awful lot of it for the road configuration and from the images I see online, it looks to be very well maintained. The issue is that the walls are bare concrete and the track is already pretty narrow, so just adding SAFER barriers doesn't seem like an option. The catch fencing also looks pretty sus.
