Cubics have to be one of the worst archetypes in the game, bar none.
Functionally terrible, 90% of the deck is hoping for some hypothetical slow-burn super casual game to start playing their deck.
>Cubic Seeds are basically one of your only ways to make most of your other cards function, and they are big removal bait
>The two different Cubic lines (Beast and King) require you to do shit like destroy something by battle with a 1000 ATK monster, go to MP2, revive multiple Seeds and send them to get the next stage (a 2000 ATK monster you need to do the same thing for)
>The finale of each line is utter dogshit (3 full turns to burn for 800 damage or swing 3 times with a 3000 ATK monster with no protection)
>Crimson Nova randomly shows up with a burn wincon but requires 3 other Cubics in hand to reveal to play it
>they have a Fusion that requires 3 of a specifically named monster that cannot be substituted that basically amounts to a Towers
>to add insult to injury, their only method of Fusion Summoning is a Trap card that only fuses from hand or field
