This was my experience as a 90s kid anyway, somehow I missed the red sky shit but watched the 80d episodes and it was weird to me since my main TamNT fandom came from the 1990 film, toys, and video games where they always looked that way and I was pissed whenever they had pupils in actuality, but even the movie was very mature compared to the cartoon and I hated the sequels
