it's technically proficient like any other King - however, far more disjointed and way less cohesive that King can manage, PLUS the art is nowhere near as interesting or good as King managed on his other Eisner Award Winning™ books like Strange Adventures or Woman of Tomorrow, so this has NO saving grace, plus King TRIES to be funny, which he is largely not good at, and sometimes painfully so. Here, he's trying to be B-List Mark Russel while also parrot D-List Tomassi, and largely fails - but the idiots who want Jonathan Samuel aged down for more Supersons type stories were probably erect and wet through some of this. YMMV.
The special did give me a decent batch great reaction image panels, so there is THAT.
