>What did they fuck up this time?
Plan was to optimize the biggest resource hogs of the late game by axing the trade route system for some dogshit mana implementation, compressing population into groups so the game wouldn't run a check for each pop that exist in the galaxy and rework the planet management part, a pretty substantial overhaul being released alongside a biology DLC and with blogposts promising huge optimization work done
What we got was none of the actual optimization promised made it into the game, the trade mana was very exploitable, most origins and civics were outright broken because these swedish mongoloids only tested the overhaul with the two preset human empires and nothing else, the actual planetary overhaul is even worse than before and the AI is mindbroken (do not let their gaslighting attempts get to you, the AI still goes into death spirals)
It is as bad of an update as the megacorp one, but unlike megacorp they "learned their lesson" and are pushing bugfixes instead of immediately going on vacation
