1. Most religions are retarded and Jewish so it leaves a bad taste in the mouth to talk about religion.
2. Most of us are hard logicians who don't want to play make believe in the first place, show us something objective and tangible.
3. Basically, we are too smart for religion and can't pretend it's actually real. You have to be stupid to actually believe in religion.
Most of us may believe in a higher power but not through any existing religions. In the end everything that's been posited so far has been dumb and the high level thinkers in this world can't play along with it. I made up my own religious beliefs, I'm the one that says God is evolved consciousness that travels back in time to create itself. It's sort of a consciousness worship, but very scientific and logical, because until I theorized this, there was no logical way for a god to have created itself or for time to have began. The rest is just: this is exists because it's a possibility. There really are no other possibilities, just one where time is bent and creation of self occurs, so all the laws of the universe are geared towards that. That possibility dictates the laws of the universe too. The builder created them so.
