But when Social Media was in its infancy, nobody was writing these giant lectures about why they don't like a Pokemon game. There was no #FuckYouGameFreak Twitter wars for Gen 3 or 5. Complaints were usually confined to critic reviews or comments on forums. The culture was completely different during SwSh.
