Alright, now that we have a lot of safety buffer, I do want to drop this unfortunate TRVTH NVKE.
There have been 11 successful ECIs before Stop Killing Games. And the percentages aren't great.
>One of Us
>End EU funding of activities involving human
embryos, in particular in research, public health and development aid
Failed, nothing was changed
>Right2Water
>See water as a right rather than a commodity
Mostly failed, though it did bring a lot of debate and some token changes as a result
>Stop Vivisection
>Pretty self explanatory
Failed, nothing was changed
>Ban Glyphosate
>Pretty self explanatory
Failed, nothing was changed
>End the Cage Age
>Prohibit the use of cages for many EU farmed animals
Failed, nothing was changed
>Minority Safepack
>A bunch of measures to add more diversity to Europe
Failed, nothing was changed
>Save Bees & Farmers
>Reduction if not outright elimination of synthetic pesticides
Mostly failed, though perhaps it's more accurate to say that they did the bare minimum to meet the demands of the initiative
>Save Cruelty Free Cosmetics
>A bunch of measures to improve the science of cosmetics and phase out cosmetics that are cruel to animals
Actually seems to be succeeding pretty well. It's taking time, but it's getting there.
>Stop Finning
>Keep cracking down on illegal shark trading
Seems to be succeeding, somewhat. Again, it's taking time.
>Fur Free Europe
>Ban on fur farming
Failed, nothing was changed
>Cohesion policy for the equality of the regions and sustainability of the regional cultures
>Somewhat self explanatory
Just reached its goal a while ago. Still no response but that's normal.
So, if you want to be generous, you could say that of these initiatives, 3 out of 10 were successful and 1 is still undetermined. Not looking good, lads.
