They are pretty different, the one thing they have in common is top tier combat.
PGR has arena combat, is faster paced and flashier animations, has more of a focus on memorable boss fights than wuwa, but the mobs are worse, storywise it takes a bit to get going but has some absolute kino chapters, uses VN storytelling and some chapters are really long.
Wuwa is newer, so the gameplay feels more polished, the game is open world and the game has incredible visuals, so higher pc requirements, combat is a bit slower than PGR, has a slow start like PGR but gets good faster, writing is not as good as PGR yet but has better presentation with a lot of amazing cutscenes.
Also some differences in MC, PGR's mc has a established backstory and starts as a normal human and gets stronger over time until he becomes Vergil, only becomes playable way later in the story. Wuwa's mc starts as a god with amnesia, so discovering the mc's past is one of the appeals of the story, very strong in gameplay too and unlocks new elements as the story goes.
There are theories that the verses might be the same but nothing that confirms it yet.

Pretty fun, since its made by Kuro the combat is good as usual, complexity depends on the character just like PGR, the main difference is the pace I would say, wuwa combat is slower paced than PGR, boss fights have more focus on dodging and parrying, for example fights like parry ball are more common, but it also doesn't have stuff like "if you miss more than X parries you lose" so its also forgiving in that aspect. There is also only 1 second cooldown on character switching, so depending on the character you can combo nonstop by switching during long attacks, intro/outro system also naturally creates rotations but because of the low switch cooldown its also very flexible. Story wise it got the same flaw as PGR where launch content is very meh compared to everything that comes after.
