I'm not on to check but I remember seeing glaciation damage without that congelation thing on. So the tutorial is misleading. Just hold dodge to change the field around, spam dodge, and hold basic when bow bar is full, ult and repeat, do that till Wanshi is ready to be swapped.
I wish it was physical so I can quickly activate that post-ult buff for Hanying/Selena.

Man, glaciation is scary. That's still SS0 Sleener, Alisa's set isn't hypertuned (she actually does solid damage in glacio), and Wanshi's not swapped to red orb resos.
Can't say I like Wanshi's dodge to enter core though, I always feel like I waste half a second to skill issues with it.

Waifu reasons aside, both are equally important meta-wise. Vera's core in fire and void, Selena in phys and glacio. Decide which team you care less about. Also, Vera doesn't really need her weapon all that much, Selena does.

It's 12% total damage increase. It helps a lot. However, if you're not autistic or score chasing - I don't think it's all that needed. If you just use your regular Wanshi set in glacio instead of one with top red orb and bottom class passive, you'll still score decently.
It also depends on comp. Hypertuning Lilith for flux is useless - she barely does damage there. It's for sure not worth it anymore to hypertune Bianca for slash since Vergil soon.
In the first place, having all those situational sets with class passives etc is mostly for people who like super-optimized teams. It won't really make or break your normal weekly runs. If anything, you won't even notice the difference unless you actually grind and optimize your runs.

Yes but also no. Regular elements are straightforward - you make a team, and it does elemental (well, or physical) damage.
Affixes aren't just a different type of damage - they also have specific mechanic tied to them, usually conditional. Flux only works for 12 seconds while the battery is active, then you need to recharge. Slash stacks damage, then explodes it with specific moves. Glaciation sort of mix of both. Burn stacks damage on enemies, then activates the dot. I'm not sure what umbra or radiant does yet, since they don't really exist as proper teams yet.

different characters have different wind ups, ye, that's an actual thing, like actual action games, there are start-ups then active frames, as long as it's gen2 bosses after the hetero ball, flash=parry

Depends on the character. Many of them are fill bar and hold M1/press E though. Choose CalCHAD as your first 5* if you want to have fun, beware though, he's kind of shit right now. In phase one, he has a blue attack that's just M.Bison's psycho crusher that you can't block and have to dodge, during phase two at rage mode, it becomes a grab version that flashes red, you have to have at least one shield star point on Startrail's shield star mechanic to parry it with red/blue ping dash
Said shield stars can be obtained by parrying with Nanami's red/blue dash or just pressing red dash then immediately pressing blue dash or vice versa to gain 2 shield stars, these can be accidentally consumed if you have them and perform the second red ping(energy sword) or second blue ping(shield chainsaw bash)

Haven't observed anything so far other than being a requirement to party Powered's rage mode psycho crusher, if you don't have at least one shield star and you try to parry that with a ping red/blue dash, you get grabbed and fucking die

Pretty fun, since its made by Kuro the combat is good as usual, complexity depends on the character just like PGR, the main difference is the pace I would say, wuwa combat is slower paced than PGR, boss fights have more focus on dodging and parrying, for example fights like parry ball are more common, but it also doesn't have stuff like "if you miss more than X parries you lose" so its also forgiving in that aspect. There is also only 1 second cooldown on character switching, so depending on the character you can combo nonstop by switching during long attacks, intro/outro system also naturally creates rotations but because of the low switch cooldown its also very flexible. Story wise it got the same flaw as PGR where launch content is very meh compared to everything that comes after.
