So, Launch's JPN VA apparently went on a podcast called KosoKoso, where she said pic related, that she asked Toriyama to retire Launch. Another person on Twitter chimed in to say that at a panel, she specifically asked for Launch's absence to be temporary (she just didn't wanna be recast), but Toriyama just sorta dropped her for good. Also just learned that Launch's VA is Arale. That's neat.
