I personally don't see a reason to get hung up on like a definitive unchanging specific size - different sizes are good for different purposes, and ponies are cartoons that break the rules all the time. It's not uncommon for me to imagine her closer to full horse size so she can be the bigger spoon, or pillow-sized so she can perfectly fit in my arms. Even teacup-sized so she can be the angel on my shoulder when I'm doing other stuff.
