no, you're simply making more and more exceptions to your initial point of view.

you still need to go to the hardware store and buy it / go to where you're storing it
you still need to spend the time to tie it into a noose
you still need to think about where to hang that noose, and if it can support your weight
you still need to go there and hang it up
you still need to put your neck in the loop
and lastly you still need to commit to the actual act of hanging

each of those steps is something that takes time and allows you to cool off and can essentially serve as an emotional barrier to actually following through. when you're going through the steps, you can decide "eh, nevermind, maybe later" and that itself is an act of suicide prevention.
