Basic premise is that you're a dude that is trying to save other people (and yourself) from a spooky ghost after death marks appear on all of you. The sequel(s) are slightly different, but they follow a similar format. I do recommend them if you're able to play the games.

Yeah, a lot of the monster designs are very cool. I guess you could also say that it follows the "Trauma molds the form" thing that a lot of stories go with, PM included.
