Honestly, not really.
It was by far the longest canto we've had, and yet the victory feels the most unmerited. It didn't feel like there were any real hurdles or obstacles for Hong Lu to overcome by himself, everything just softly resolved by itself. Jia Qiu was always there to take his hand whenever he got stuck, and Dante ex Machina vision conveniently transferred to Daiyu as well so we didn't have to face that hurdle.
It felt so safe and undeserved that my opinion of him ultimately remains unchanged.
