Rites of war being kill is seriously painful the more I think about it. I'm gonna pretend like Eskaton Imperative or Terror Assault were always the fairest or funnest things to play against, but their special rules made the game really interesting and different. One of my most memorable games was a buddy running Dark Bertheren Word Bearers and pumping up his warlord up to WS9, massacring all my characters before dying to a hail of lascannons. Special moments are just gone now, replaced with 'here are 2 more predators for your army!'
