I think it’s interesting yet sad that she always defaults to being into Hiruko and being subservient, yet with Retsnom we can see her have no interest in Hiruko and be on a level playing field being in love with a Guy. I guess the difference is worshiping a super competent person or wanting to help support a normal struggling person and they support you in return.
