Evisu did the taper fit and made it popular while most pants were wide legs.
Wide legs look like shit + I am a 30+ year old millenial and remember when the Evisu trend took off. Could not afford them myself but I always wish I could. And nowdays the tapered ones with wings on the pockets are dropped in favour of wide leg zoomie shit.
