I'll check them out. Honestly the lighting and the color palette of the original series, especially during the first season, were what made it stand out among the other cape series released at the same time. I was just as hyped as some of my other friends when it was announced as a revival but I quickly grew disillusioned once I watched that fight between DD and Bullseye in the first episode which heavily relied on CGI. Such a massive departure from the more grounded and street level kind of fights of the Netflix show.
