Dragon Quest.
You can go to the church and talk to the priest (somtimes a nun) to save your game, cure a curse, and revive dead party members.
Often times you will find "corrupt" members of the church in the overworld, but it's usually a joke about a nun being an alchoholic.
Sometimes they're just willing to heal you for free.
There are actual evil priests, but the story goes out of its way to portray them as outliers.
One time there was a legitimately corrupt High Priest character it was to give him an arc about overcoming his greed to help the party save someone.
And of course, there are sometimes openly devote members of the party.
