The only time I tried changing a tube in the field I punctured the new tube with the tire spoons. Fuck tubes. Never again. Now I got tubeless, had a massive tool lodge itself in my tire this year. Patched and on my way in 10 mins. And less weight to carry around. Id probably just silicone seal my tube type rims
