>Some eariler human societies (civilizations after the first Agriculuture 5k - 8k years ago) were significantly matriarchal
Name one, dumbass.
Matriarchal attempts have ALWAYS brought the ruin of the civilizations they took over within 2 generations. There has never been an exception.
The closest any civilization has ever come to matriarchy are present day marxist states like USA and South Korea, which as you can see are suiciding as rapidly as they can figure out how.

Not really adding anything new or interesting since I'm not an authority at all. Just a novice. But hope this helps you or anyone else reading.
The question you should deeply ask is, do you actually want it? It sounds silly but by our actions we generally go towards the things we want to do as people. I love magic whether it's the idea of it, the concepts, history but all I do really is read about it. I'm generally too lazy and too focused on other material things to actually try rituals. The job I'm in and modern society are incredibly hostile to spiritual cultivation but the time I'd spend on rituals is time I spend playing video games by myself or with friends, cooking or talking with my family. What positive and beneficial thing is currently taking up your time that you'd be willing to drop?
If you do decide to go for it, I've found two things. That language is important. Science and Magic are the same. Important in the sense that not having the right words to describe a mode of thinking or how to say the right thing to connect with someone in the real world on magic or the paranormal stilts your growth both in the material and spiritual. Science and Magic are the same as both are explorations for knowledge. Once upon a time, it was considered a concept bordering on magic that there could be spy satellites that could see you light a cigarette. How light disperses through the atmosphere would eventually give a hard limit on resolutions in an image. Then the Prez dropped spy satellite photos of an Iranian facility on twitter during his first term in greater detail than anyone thought was possible and then the incident got memory holed by all parties involved. All of a sudden, Magic just became Science.
Took a long time to add more since conveying this information in a way that makes sense to others is profoundly difficult since I'm still learning. Wish you and any other fellow students good luck on your own journeys!
