What do you guys think of dropthrough cruiser boards?

Arbor Summit Sucrose Initive 71mm 78a wheels, 50 caliber trucks, unknown deck (looks kinda like an Arbor Zeppelin, but seems short at 34 inches, even with the ends chipped off)
I think it's just under 8.5 wide, maybe 8.375?

It was super dry wood so I oiled the wood and filled the splits in the wood on the bottom (maple) and the (bamboo top layer?)slits, hopefully to help waterproof and keep the board less brittle.
Ends are chipped off and hardware bolt heads are stripped pretty badly, but it seems okay for now so I will leave it be till I buy replacements at a hardware store.

Eventually if it cracks on the ends more, I can narrow the wheelbase or even just drill and mount the trucks under, maybe leaving a kicktail.
