lowkey has some esoteric vibes but I can't dig deep at them. The wake of the New and the end of the Old, the patricidal intent. Tess Millay, she's a mirror, a stand-in for the late wife of Dunson and therefore as the stepmother of Matthew. Great performances specially Wayne as a greedy and aged tyrant. The camera usage was impressive during the cattle drive across the Red River, mandatory epic music to sauce up the scene. The nightfog scene was very chilling and dreamlike. The ending was a phony anticlimactic cope out though I was laughing my ass off at it. Good film altogether.
