While very licoricey, I am picking up hints of something else, some warmth not related to alcohol. Might be very heavy on peppers or ginger, which either way makes this way more better as medicine. But there is also hints of some fernet branca-ism in this as well, so I am thinking it might have hefty bits of saffron. Which once again makes this quit good as medicine. Fernet Branca is full on 100% medicine, while jaegermeister is 100% party drink. Unicum is kinda weird, it's a medicinal drink for sure, but the licorice content turns it more into a laxative than any other kind of digestive aid. If nothing else,it's completely opposite of the taste of underberg

Longshot tastes like equal parts of jaegermeister, unicum and fernet branca mixed together, with the burn of a heavy ginger soda like old jamaica, yet it also tastes peppery like black pepper

I think this is the best thing I have had in a while from the alcohol monopoly store

If I had to choose 1 type of alcohol to drink for the rest of my life, these kinds of herbal bitters would be it. It can be used for alcohol consumption and intoxication, but also as a genuine medicine
