We are riddled with fear at the idea that the ideologies of the past may come slowly slipping back into the mainstream, robbing us of the rights we have fought for for centuries. We can not fathom or comprehend that things could be different, that they could be better, because we are routinely sold the lie that any change in the status quo will resemble right wing Fascism or left wing Communism and have disastrous consequences. More often than not, Americans can not even define what these ideologies are or how they work, and that is because of a lifetime of corporate propaganda. We prop up dictatorships with those same authoritarian ideologies that have no regard for human rights so long as they stay complicit in our corrupt system of capital, and then try to preach to the American people about how badly these systems actually are. We are hypocrites.

My morals lead me to reject envy. It is a philosophy of dignity, though if you are able to draw that conclusion based on what I’m saying, I suppose it doesn’t matter to you either way. I am also not upset just because you are acting like a typical schizo shitposter who has nothing more meaningful to contribute. I have been here longer than you and expect it at this point. If what I say changes the mind of only one lurker, it is worth it to me to continue to say it.
