It really is. Since the threads dying I'll post a tldr.
>Work in a retro game shop.
>Halloween of '22, all alone.
>Come in in a costume and get 20% off.
>in comes a short white Vriska and a big black Equius.
>Equius zooms to the PS2 section and begins meticulously searching for things.
>Vriska comes up to the counter nonchalantly and asks about the Saturn we got.
>We get along and she asks how much it'd be with the discount. Tell her its gotta be a video game costume. She tells me that 'Oh Vriska is from Homestuck, and its got a few video games for the PC!'
>I ask her what Homestuck is, knowing full well what it was already.
>The smile she gave me.
>For half an hour she just goes on and on about Homestuck, where to read it, and how her costume, Vriska, is the main character that saves everyone.
>Its autistic spiel but its funny. Tell her that, if Vriska can use hypnosis and mind control, why doesn't she just make me give her a discount.
>She assumes that Vriska pose like pic-related and pretends to hypnotize me.
>Its so dumb and its so late I decide to give her and Equius the discount, which is good because hes got about 30 sports games with him and they're cheap as hell.
>He buys his games.
>She gets her Saturn.
>Before she leaves, she suggests I dress up as John next halloween because 'You look just like him!'
>And I close up not long after that.
She comes in every now and then, and I always hold a particularly good game for her since shes the only one who has been buying Saturn stuff.
