Lorefag here with Kong-specific creation myth
>"In those ancient days, sailors were terrorized by a great leviathan of the sea, and the people wished for it's defeat. The stars, seeing the sailor's plight, took pity on them and thus bore a great champion from the heavens. He was mighty and powerful, called Kong for his immense strength. He descended from the heavens and battled the beast for 40 days and 40 nights. Creating great storms and waves, marring the land. Eventually the two slew each other. And Kong's great body became solid as stone, forming an island. From it's sands grew great palms, and from them, the sacred fruit, the banana, from which Kong is remembered by. The stars spoke to the sands, and from the sands, a people in the image of the Great Kong were born, raised from it. They too were called Kongs in his name."
I wrote this before all the Banandium lore got revealed though.
