I'm gifted with being absolute garbage with words so I might repeat myself or fail to communicate my thoughts, that is if you're asking in good faith anyway. What makes it a wreck to me is mainly the very short number of episodes. They tried to cram 30+ episodes worth of content in 12, making everything happen really fast, which wouldn't be an issue if there wasn't all this plot they wanted to include. Things that canonically happen are implied rather than shown. Interesting points come and go and are never developped, because there's not enough time. You don't feel for the moments that happened because they weren't shown, like machu's training with chalia for exemple. A lot of what happen feels like it happen out of nowhere and isn't earned. It feels like things happen just because. You know those kind of projects you don't have enough time for so you throw together what you can, making the end result subpar

Understandable. While I wouldn't put mobile armors above mommies, I would put GFreD on the same level. I didn't really like the gundam designs but ended up loving fred, despite him sharing the same body as gqux. Probably the colors, but mostly that beautiful head. It opening to connect to a doomsday weapon is so cool

Now that I think about it, there's one hint but lol lmao that's a bit of a strech. When he gets a newtype understanding with shiiko as he backstabs her. She smiles and probably thinks what a noble reason to live for, considering she was fighting for her first love herself. But again nothing is shown to the viewer, it just says shuji has a goal without expanding on it until the end of the show
Honestly I'm not sure 24 episodes would've been enough. WfM had as much and even then felt rushed. I wish we could've gotten more mommy Kycilia and more GFreD
