Sup, /adv/, so I decided last week to approach this girl at work, but it didn't go exactly as planned
My original plan was to go by her desk every day and say hello in a way that's not suspicious but rather friendly so that she'd remember me and build some rapport.
But the first day, she wasn't at her desk, was checking her phone outside, second day there were couple people shuffling on the floor, my hello got drowned out in the noise, third day (today) I got a little nervous so I barely whispered instead of saying it normally, she didn't even notice.
I'm peeved af that it's falling apart from the very beginning. She's frontdesk and I can't go too many times by her desk due to work
But, but, for my plan to work, I would need to move closer to her desk when passing by. Is there a way to do this like every day without looking suspicious?

Sup, /adv/, so finally decided to make a move on the frontdesk girl so hear me out and tell me if it's ok
For those of you who advise against work relationships, I've got a 9-6 with 2 hours commute, i barely have time in the morning for breakfast and when i get home for dinner, let alone meet females, so beat it
So there's a lot people walking by her desk and most never say hello, so if i go everyday by her desk and say "hello" not too loud but a bit more affectional, maybe it's a starting point, she'll remember me and build some rapport.
Tough part is how do i do once i decide to move past hello, or when do i move past hello.
