BROOKFIELD, IL (approx. 13 mi WEST of DOWNTOWN Chicago) is home to what I believe is the LARGEST, traditional ARCADE in the USA, and ONE of the largest on this planet.

Of particular interest to ME is their extensive collection of CLASSIC Pinballs - including BLACK KNIGHT - which I have DEEP history with and hosts a significance to my life that is out of proportion to anything rational.

GALLOPING GHOST also apparently is chock full of CLASSIC arcade cabinets, including RARE AF games like Exidy’s ‘‘CHILLER’’ and ‘‘DEATH RACE’’.

What better way to observe INDEPENDENCE DAY than to duel some PINBALLS and get our GAME on with some properly OLD SCHOOL machines and then go for DINNER and DRINKS at LASCHET’S INN (HOMELAND FACTION HQ)?
