Sometimes is its worst part: how it would end

I find myself attempting to find the most interesting and fitting ways to tie loose ends in hypothetical end times scenarios, and I think I've just decided that since the fate of the ogres and halflings should be somewhat connected but the ogres are flawed and unfinished, it would be greatly ironic and entertaining if the halflings ended up "fixing" them with 2 quests at the opposite ends of the maw, one to throw something in it, one to fish something out of it
of course there would be a lot of other parties and players involved
