>They seem like particularly weird people
This is WHY we got along in the first place!
>why they would intentionally steer conversations towards events they know for a fact they shouldn't know about
They steer conversations like that because they're curious like I am, I know them well, so I know how to bait them.
>and then refuse knowledge of it when proven wrong
This, I only have guesses for. Which I have shared. Opsec is only the most logical answer I have thought of. Another possibility is that someone else informed them, and if THAT is the case I REALLY want to know who lol, wouldn't you?
>they don't sound like the best people to be friends with
They aren't, nobody is the best people to be friends with. I've tried being selective with friend groups, it just feels forced and fake. Imo, it is much better to have a history with the people I consider my friends. And if they betray me in some way, I believe it can be more complicated than them just hating me. Because there is a reason for everything, right? And if it really is my fault I'd like to know to either change it or accept that I really shouldn't be friends with that person.
Doesn't that make sense?
