This isn't specifically about headphone types but the jack for them on my tower has been fucky since we got it and I haven't had a single day in the few years I've had this new pc where I don't hear audio crackling.
Literally nothing I try with drivers or power management does anything, I know it's not the headphones themselves since I've used them on my phone and the sound is fine. What the fuck do I even try and diagnose with this windows doesn't provide any help and neither does the world wide web.
