From the Greeks with swan rape to Victorian vampires being an allegory of raping the innocent to 50's pulp magazines and fantasy stories having the concept be such a common occurrence it would be weird not to see at least one story that has it in somebodies book collection, rape has always been a constant part of media and entertainment for shock and pleasure. It's kind of strange how modern times is so disgusted by it honestly.
