Olsztyn has a beautiful lake near town perfect for summer holiday fun. Only 78 zloty for a private room in the lovely centrum at Hotel Wysoka Brama...if you can find a vacancy, that is. Apart from the departing streetcars, it's pretty quiet. Room curtains are useless at blocking out the light here. It seems these people hate sleeping in complete darkness.

A negro migrant approached me in a tiny railroad town asking how to get to an even smaller village in the countryside. There's a smattering of foreigners everywhere you go here, but they're rarely seen taking their leisure in the city center.

The basement restaurant here offered trout for 29 zl, but it was already closed at 8 pm. Carrefour also closed by 8 pm. Bakeries all closed as well. It's either KFC or Zabka for avocado and cream cheese sandwiches.

Walking out on a peninsula jutting into the lake I passed a guy sitting butt naked on a log with his back to the trail and his junk on display. Farther on, two other (clothed) faggots were lurking around looking nervous over my arrival. I found a different way back and left them in peace.
