mechanically, all they'd need to do is stick to 3v3 but enhance it with all the good shit from the past 3 games with none of the bad (and independent lifebars of course).
I really want to see a co-op mode for both games, but maybe MvC4 can bring back Variable Cross, 3 characters simultaneously for 3 bars (or 2 characters for 2 bars). So far Tokon doesn't have that and maybe that's on purpose, i'm not sure.
