I'm happy with how they turned out but the biggest thing I noticed in each of the studies is that I really can't convey long, straight, or geometric organic shapes, like the fins of the whale, or the box-like outline of some petals on the flower, or the longest feathers on the bird, I feel as though the actual strokes I was doing with my pencil for each of these shapes was completely wrong. I don't know if it's possible to simply not know a particular kind of stroke, but if so then I'm definitely missing one
I'll do no reference sketches for the two more complicated photos once I go through more loomis, there's no way I'll be able to do either of them off the dome as it stands
