Soon i will have to spend 5 days a week in a dorm or another house. Weekends will be spent at home. At the moment i have a large gaming setup that will be too unpractical to assemble/disassemble 2+ times a week. Because of that i have been thinking about a gaming laptop but due to previous bad experiences with laptops and the other disadvantages with them im not very keen on that idea. Other option would be to build a "hybrid" desktop/laptop as in building a mini itx pc that i would place in a briefcase along with 2 folding hinged screens and keyboard/mouse readily available. It would still be easy to transport and would only take 1-2 minutes to pack up while still having the power/longetivity of a desktop.
Has anyone done something like this?
