They never say it outright but the BD-3000s are blatantly sex bots, being used as arm candy by senatorial officials, lounging around their private quarters in lingerie as seen here, etc and it's similarly implied that's the case with the nebulous and rarely seen "biodroids" of which we know more of them exist but only are ever shown like 2 lines...which were descended from the BD-3ks.
