I hadn't played it yet. It just feels weird seeing stuff that should be general base game improvements locked behind expansion. To me, Odyssey content should be about the grav ship + places to take it. Odyssey-exclusive unique biomes, everything in space, and Odyssey-quest related POI all makes sense for being unique, but some revamp stuff that fell out on the way should be base game, like more animal and terrain diversity.

just doesn't seem intuitive in the 5-year-lookback of the game. Same with building over water, which goes hand-in-hand with fishing, but at least that was added to base.
