One can be interested in the paranormal, but still need to see evidence to believe that something is real. Taking everything you see on /x/ at blind faith makes you know better than some spinster who gives her life savings to a televangelical. In other words: I want to believe, but it's healthy to be a skeptic when there's no hard proof.
