Said it before and I'll say it again, America no longer has a traditional "working-class" (excluding migrant labourers who are closest thing). It has three socio-economic groups now, rich, middle-class and extremely poor. Your average middle-class American would be considered quite wealthy in most other countries, including all of Europe and the UK. America has more millionaires than all other countries combined. I guess that's what happens when you essentially control the world economy for eight decades.
