There's nothing subjective about characters fighting at least somewhat alright in base form.

Want more numbers? SS1 Goku is at 3000 Kiris, Yakon at 800. Base Goku can do just fine against Yakon, and according to Gohan, they can take out Yakon with the two of them without going Super Saiyan. This isn't a x50 situation.
