I can see that, even though I can't help but remember this quote from a 1999 interview:

I think it's mostly Jessica's personality coming out in her roles – a shot from Pennies from Heaven where she caresses Steve Martin after he crawls in bed comes to mind. She's from a completely different era and it's crazy how lucky we are she's still starring in new films (Fantasy Life is screening at SXSW next month plus Memory & Nightbitch hit theaters last year).
